Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026 · Crawllify is operated by Interital

This Privacy Policy explains how Crawllify (operated by Interital) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website at crawllify.com, our free Indexability Report tool, and our dashboard at app.crawllify.com. By using Crawllify, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up, we collect your name and email address via Google OAuth. We do not store your Google password. We only receive the basic profile information you authorise Google to share.

Free Indexability Report Tool

When you use our free Indexability Report tool, we collect the website URL you submit and store the report we generate for it. If you ask us to email you the full report, we also collect your email address and whether you opted in to receive product updates (the optional consent checkbox).

Domain and Usage Data

When you add a domain to Crawllify, we store that domain name and associated configuration. We log bot visits to your domain — including the bot’s user-agent, the URL visited, and the timestamp. This data powers your analytics dashboard and is retained according to your plan’s log retention window (7, 30, or 90 days).

Billing Information

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers.

Technical Information

We process IP addresses and basic request information to operate the service, enforce rate limits, and protect against abuse.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the Crawllify service
  • Generate and deliver the report you request through the free Indexability Report tool
  • Send you essential service emails (account confirmations, billing receipts, usage alerts)
  • Display bot visit analytics in your dashboard
  • Protect the service against abuse, fraud, and security threats
  • Improve our service and diagnose technical issues
  • Send you product updates and tips, only if you have opted in to receive them
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Data From Your Visitors

Crawllify processes requests from search engine bots and AI crawlers visiting your domain. We do not collect, store, or process any personal data about your site’s human visitors. Human visitors are handled without any data interception by Crawllify.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use a small number of cookies:

  • Essential cookies required for the website and your account to function, including session cookies for dashboard authentication.
  • Analytics cookies from a third-party analytics provider, which help us understand how visitors use our site (for example, which pages are viewed).

We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. If that changes, we will update this policy. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.

5. Third-Party Services

Crawllify uses trusted third-party service providers to operate the platform — including providers for hosting and infrastructure, database and authentication, email delivery, payment processing, and analytics. Each provider processes data only to the extent necessary to deliver the service, and each operates under their own privacy policy. We do not share your personal data with any third party beyond what is required to operate the service, or where required by law.

6. Marketing Emails

The report you request through the Indexability Report tool is a transactional email, sent because you asked for it. We will only send you marketing or product-update emails if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any such email, or by emailing hello@crawllify.com. Where required by law, our marketing emails include a physical postal address.

7. Data Retention

Bot visit logs are retained according to your plan (7 days for Starter, 30 days for Builder, 90 days for Scale). Emails and reports collected through the free Indexability Report tool are kept until they are no longer needed for the purpose collected, or until you ask us to delete them. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active, and for any period required afterward to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, subject to those obligations.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your data
  • Withdraw consent to analytics or marketing at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@crawllify.com.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and access controls on our infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy

Crawllify is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will notify you by email.
